Default Question about noise cant figure out??

Hey I missed everyone here!! I will post pics of recent mods added to the truck... I just have one question, my ball joints, outer tie rods, control arms haven been replaced. I still get a hard knocking noise when i go over bumps or potholes. I was think it is the shocks and bushings but if anyone can point me in the right direction? Thank you ahead of time

Check to see if the stud part of your upper ball joint is coming in contact with piece of metal that extends from were you springs are seated. I had a 03' ram that did the same thing. It happened when I put a leveling kit on the front. Your post is sounds exactly like what was happening to mine. Is it 2wd and have you done anything with the suspension.

^^^Yup. Leveling kits will cause that, and I believe you have a 2.5" level if I remember correctly right???

We'd love to see your mods. Take some pics too. Be sure to post them up in the General chat section. links in my sig;-)

Yes it was 2.5inch kit. I have since bought a new truck but a good alignment should fix the problem. The one I had on mine was made by procomp.

Yeah just look to see if there is wear marks. If you take your tire off and let your spindal hang freely you can see if it makes contact with the metal flang. If it isn't I am pretty much stuck at that boss. Let me know if that's was it is or if it is somthing else but I'm 89% sure that's it.
