My Tac works. I replaced the hole dash. Mine even worked with the old dash. Sounds like a wire not connected.

I am just glade i had a complete other truck to swap. so anybody that wants to do this better have the other truck or ready to buy all of the wiring cause ur going to need it. dodge likes to change things up.I almost thought i was over my head but it is worth the Hemi lol.

The ONLY way you can pull it off is with a complete donor truck. No way somebody is just gonna buy a Hemi engine and do this swap...

Well, I did it... it wasn't the easiest job, but I got it done. Chassis wise, its the same. I got a custom wiring harness made by Street and Peformance in Mena, AR (hotrodlane.cc is there website) That only will run the engine. I had to run the old 4.7 computer to run the gauges and slice into the existing sensor ie, oil pressure, water temp etc... The only thing I can't seem to get is tach. It gets it's reading from the crankshaft, but it seem to be working, but there's no problem going old school tach with pedestal mount. But say it can't be done without a donor truck is not correct.
