Default Overhead Console

My overhead console in my 02 ram has gone bad I think. I still need to see if it's actually getting power or not. My question is I have the one with the homelink in it. Can I buy one off of ebay that is for a grand cherokee that has the homelink in it or do I have to get one out of a Ram

mines on the buttons so it's an evic... So can I use one from a jeep?

No, either your temp will display and nothing else works, or everything else works and no temp. I trialed and errored more than a few times before the correct part number was for sale semi cheap. I looked in the 2002 parts manual and it doesn't show an EVIC available for 2002. The earliest available is 2003, which is 56045574AE (what I have). It may or may not work. It looks like this:

Also before it went bad and the previous owner had it (my grandmother) I played with it and I could change all my lock settings, light delays, ..All that kind of stuff

yep...that's identical to mine.. All the numbers on the back are the same but mine says AD instead of AE
