Make sure you get a 2008 or newer...310hp....

www.airram.com is a good 4.7 performance source....

airram is good for everything except cams and custom tuning. and if you want cams and tuning the only place is KRC performance.

Good luck at KRC, I was by there twice now since the other place took it over, mid-week, mid-day and the door was locked and nobody was there. Cheazy paper sign on the front door where KRCs name was with the name of the new company in black magic marker.

Not a good sign...

Yeah I was on the phone with them a few weeks back and I think it is two brothers who took it over. The one brother I spoke with was Dolphin (think thats what he said) and as i was asking Qs about tuning I wasnt getting the best vibe from him. I paid Marty for tuning and at least when i asked him a Q I could get a straight, well defined, plausible answer

4.7 is a solid engine, go with 08+ due to the much increased HP. Take out the baffle from the feed neck before purchasing and make sure that the valves aren't sludged up. Trust me...

If your doing a swap, your better off going Hemi. I doubt they are much more than a 4.7 because the Hemi's w/low mileage ar all over Ebay for under $2k.

...and a stick shift aint gonna add any HP, but only change the feel of the HP in your pants.

I would like to go with a hemi...but that would take a rear end gear swap, drive shaft, tranny, motor, CPU, and wire harness. If i stick to just a low upgrade to the 4.7, it will bolt right up to my 5speed along with just the CPU and wire harness. trying to make this as painless as possible.
