Pulling the heads off for a leaking gasket. Want to install a new cam while the engine is apart,but no one local with any suggestions. I would just like to improve performance a little without having to replace the valve springs. No other modifications to the engine so still being able to run 87 octane would be nice. Has anyone upgraded the factory cam and had good roadability? Any suggestions geatly appreciated.

Good god there are tons of cams for those, but I'm not sure what will work best for what you want/need. Have you tried looking in the Mopar Performance catalog? If you don't get a good response here, posting in 2nd gen may help.
