Default Stock Tranny :(

ok i have had my truck for 2 years now it has 59k on it its great but i do not like the transmission or the way it is programed? sry for my ignorance, it shifts waaaay to soon i have a 4.7. that also might contibute? i usually keep it in tow haul, unless i am on the highway and even then i do not always take it off. it always goes straight to 5th or the highest gear possible and then when there is a change in traffic or a hill i have to wait for it to down shift at least one gear. any programers etc that could help with this? oh not sure if it matters it is a 4x4 reg cab. thanks mike

yes it helps a bit with engine performance, and if you seek transmission shift point support you need the 3865, the 3815 does not support it...

Does the line booster really work, or is it just one of those gadgets that don't really make difference and are a waste of money??

I was skeptical as first also but I can honestly say when I put mine on I noticed an instant difference and I love it on mine.
