Default fan/blower for climate control not working

Ok, so I have seen quite a few people having problems with their fan being stuck on high speed or nothing. Well, my fan is not working at all, if you turn the ac on and put the control **** on fresh air you can feel very cold air at the vent but it is not being blown out. Also the defrost seems to work the same way (though it is quite slow when you need a clear windsheild) Now I just found out there is going to be a hundred dollar deductable for the stupid warranty so I want to see if I can diagnose and fix it for cheaper than that.

If your blower motor is bad you are looking at 70$ and up for a new motor plus a fun time trying to replace it. 100 bucks for them to do it and warranty the part is probably worth it.

With an 07, are you not still under warranty? The fan blower circuit gets its power from an accessory wire in the ignition switch also so before you go buying a new fan, you had better make sure you do or do not have 12v FROM the fan blower switch

I called Dodge and the factory warranty was 3yr/36000miles, so I am up the creek for that one. Thanks for your help ("AWE Daniel" and "weedahoe")! I work on Fort Benning, GA and it has been 100+ here every day for around two weeks, so I think I will make my decision when I am driving/sweating on the way home tonight.

I am having the same problem on my 03 dodge ram. I replaced the blower resister but that didn't solve the problem. Have you figured out the issue dangerousdegner?
