I'm wondering how your getting beat by a titan? What year is it? Are they supposedly faster than our trucks? I've beat them on the street an at the strip, and i just have a stock QC inless my system and my HIDs boost my hp. haha
April, 2007 Car and Driver mag had a Titan turning 15.6 on the quarter. That's a 4-door. Had a 5.6 L engine, 3.4 rear axle, and 5-speed auto. Firt and second gear were geared down more than the Dodge - 3.83 for first, and 2.37 for second, 1.52 for third. So the Titan got a lot of advantage through the first 2 or 3 gears.
The 4-door Dodge Hemi in the same test pulled off a 16.2 second 1/4 mile with the 3.92 rear axle.

Yes. I'm still considering having something done, either change both and not worry about clutch pack retainers failing or just get 4.10s and hope the retainers behave themselves.
I re-figured my effective gear ratio: I thought my 285/70s had changed it to 3.44, but I realized the stock tire is a 245, not a 265 (it came with 265s). That makes my effective rear gear at something like 3.30! He's a long-legged brute, for sure.

When I get some more money I want to get the DTT 2WD package with master install kit off of Moes Performance. It includes the LSD, your choice of gears (I'm gonna do 4.56), and like I said before the master install kit for around $800.

go 4.56 its not that much more money wise youll be happy you did, you do not have to change the stock diff if you want something better you can but if you have a stock lsd have them remove the clutch pack retainer clips if not and they fall out youll blow all that money you just put in....crickets have spoke...
