Default Noise at 35-47 mph

All,

New to this forum and hope that I can find someone with that has had a similar problem with the RAM 1500. I have a 2007 with the 5.7 V8. I have 31K miles on the truck. Here is what is going on with the truck:

After the truck warms up, I get a noise that sounds like an impact wrench when the truck is running between 35 and 48 MPH. If I power through it, it goes away and it happens for the most part when I am going up an incline.

I took the truck in and had the Tech do a ride along so he could hear the noise. He told me that it was related to the MDS and was being caused by the increased flow of air when the truck shifts from 4 to 8 cylinders. He reset the computer, but it did not do a whole lot to reduce or eliminate the noise. I replaced the air filter as well. Other then the noise, the truck runs good. Has anyone had a problem like this? Thanks,

George
