Default New tires Question

Yet another tire size thread! I want to get a good tire/wheel combo to fill up the wheel wells on my 04 2wd QC , I've heard 305's rub without a lift, I've also heard that they dont. If you've done this, please post pics, advice, etc. An offroad style tire is more up my alley and I'm looking at a polished wheel.

I cant give you any for sure answers because i am tryng to figure the same thing out as well. I think only the most agressive 305's will rub, but if you go with the 305's you won't be able to do any serious off-roading or thy will rub.

I know on the 4x4s there is some trimming involved in the front. I would assume that it would be more intesive with 2wd.
