Cab Lights, Non Recon...
I know there has been a lot of threads concerning cab lights on here, but I haven't seen any about non recon lights (12 v specifically).
I checked the plug coming up from the right side pillar and I am getting a 3v reading on my volt meter, Is this correct and will it run my 12v lights, or will I have to run 12v separately, just need to know before I drill a bunch of holes through my roof for lights that may not work, lol.
Thank everybody and long live the Hemi!!

3V is not going to do it but are you sure you have the right wire in the A pillar?
Ive seen guys use the ebay special can lights and have good results. Rubberfrog has a youtube vid on how to do some although I think he did Recons.

for him it will be a pink/violet wire for the park light wire
or if you have a black/yellow wire in your a pillar its your clearance light tap

Thanks Weedahoe, BrettJ, and PJordan, yeah I am pretty certain it's the right wire, lights on 3 v. Lights off 0 v. It's the only plug on the pass side pillar. I seen the vid on you tube, it was recon lights, awesome video though. Nice trucks guy's
