I had new brake pads put on probably like 4 or so months ago and they have been squeaking since. I don't know how I've been putting up with it but it's driving me crazy now. Seems to be the front ones.

Any ideas why there making noise? And what can I do to fix it?

 

Im guessing they are semi-metallics? Have you tried makigng sure they were not glazed over or have you tried a to grease them?

 

No I have not tried anything to them. I bought disk brake quiet in a can but I never took apart my brakes so I have no clue how to do anything brake related.

 

if a garage did them go back and tell them they are squalling they should do something for you
