A/C Air Temp?
I have a 2007 Ram, 5.7 Hemi, 2WD, and I am getting a 29 degree temp difference from outside air temp, I.E. 86 degrees outside and A/C air temp is 57 degrees. On my Ford (145,000 miles) I checked it and it was 100 outside and air blowing at 40 degrees. Both R134a refrigerant. Compressor does not cycle improperly and has been that way since new. 50,000 miles on it. Compressor line is cold and other hot. Any of you receive a truck from the dealer that was under or over serviced with refrigerant? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mac

I have recharged my ac twice myself. I got all the tools and pump from harbor freight. My usually blows 40 degrees. If it is hot it may take awhile but will eventually hit 40. (checked with temp gauge)
The compressor should have a hot and cold. The compressor should engage and run for a good while before disengaging. If it cycles with in a minute it's probably low on 134. I assume you check the temp with it on recirculate?
