i've been trying to find a desent priced camper shell for my 05 1500 SLT Ram. i found the fiberglass one at 2 places one at a place called trucks & more (sucks) but they tell me $1200 another place $700. i don't even care if its aluminium (color will match though). i only need it for when i travel with my dogs b/c i'm not going to have it on all the time.

 

When I was looking even the cheap looking aluminum ones were around $700+. Some of the time the dealers will have one ordered that the customer doesn't take delivery of. They usually let them go cheap, but you would need to get it painted. Maybe you can find a used one.

If you live on the east coast there's a place called top City. call them at least for a price.1-800-787-8656 They carry every thing for a truck. installation is free.

 

Anyone else with topper pics on a 3rd gen? That leer is sweet, but I'd like to see some others on a Ram before making a decision.

 

I went with the 100XQ as well with a bed rug and trailseal tailgate stripping. If you live around Atlanta, let me know because I got mine installed (just the shell) for $825.
