vibration while driving
I am hoping someone may have had same kind of issue or could offer some advice.
I have a 2003 ram 1500 4x2 with 4.7 engine. about 6 months ago i had the passenger side wheel bearing hub assembly replaced, and think the driver side has started to go out on me. i jacked up the truck and have about 1/8' play side to side and top to bottom. i have a new part on order and will replace it but my question isnt so simple i dont think.
when i start the engine i have a clicking noise coming from the motor, once it warms up and i start driving the noise disappears. when driving there is a constant vibration and i am hoping that it is as simple as the wheel bearing, but is there a way to check and see if there is something engine related to the vibration? would a bad wheel bearing make it seem as if there was a vibration from the motor area?
im not a mechanic so i was just looking for some input from someone more knowledgable
thanks
