Default looking to do a few mods...

02 QC 1500

First im looking at running 3" straight pipes with an off road X and turn downs. Has anyone run this set up? i'm more concerned about how this will sound over any performance gains.

Second i'm looking at 5:10 gears. I know its kind of extreme for a 2WD but i am lifted (6") and run 35's. Not much, if any highway driving. Most are running 4:10's or 4:56's. If anyone has run these gears, how much did it wake the truck up? thanks in advance

also, is anyone running a stabilizer on their IFS (2wd) 1500? i cant find a kit anywhere.

No need to go any larger than 2.5" duals especially for sound IMO. For true duals, you'll need to go directly to the headers with NO Y-pipe as the X would be rendered useless and wouldn't be a true dual set-up technically.
Can't go that big of a gear. Biggest for you would be 4:88's since your 2wd.

If everything else in your truck is stock 2.5" is as big as I would go for a dual setup. And you can go as high as a 4.88 for the rear, probably dont need to go that big though as a 4.56 would work just as fine.

Yeah, I would think 488s would be nice to play with on a track but not on the street at all. I would keep it at 456s. I know 488s arent much more but I wouldnt do it and Ive got 36s with 12" of lift.
