Default Air Helper Springs

looking at getting a set of air helper bags/ springs what ever you want to call it for my 2002 ram 1500 2wd . I have heard that the PacBrake are of good quality as well as the firestone. I already have on board air so thats not a problem and I also want a set up where i can control the psi in the bags form the cab. What do yall recommend or use?

Ride-rite which are the firestone bags have a kit with a on board control valve with an air gauge. We carry these where i work and we install them all the time. We've never had any problems with them except for when the customer under inflates them and the bags wear out but this is with any air bag.

Used to was a time when the Firestone bags were subject to dry rotting, had a good many south Georgia farmers give my tire guy fits over it, when he'd install a set of them and they'd only get a season or two out of 'em. He switched to only using Air Lift bags because of it, which is why I have the Air Lifts.

But I've not heard tell of the Firestone bags going to sh*t in a few years now...

if possible, take a look at the type of air suspension (air bags) used on heavy trucks (semi's). Around here, if it's big and it rides on air, it rides on Firestone.
