Default Engine noise on acceleration and vibration

My truck is need of some help. I've searched forums but found none really the same as my problem. Its a 05 Ram Quad Cab 1500 4.7L. Lately i noticed some serious vibration on acceleration and on quick acceleration it sounds like the a shrieking bird. If I'm just cruising no problems really just light vibration. Nothing when slowing down either, just acceleration.

Been like this for maybe a month, last week I purchased new tires and had an alignment and nothing still doing it. I think its two different problems but I'm not sure. I'm thinking maybe a transmission fluid change for the vibration on acceleration but the shriek has me worried. The shriek maybe a new serpentine belt and tensioner but I'm not sure. Also acceleration seems a bit off meaning it seems like its working harding to do it.

Ideas and suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Well your first thoughts are likely correct but you wont know for sure until you get out there and take the belt off and see if the noise goes away and then go from there. Let us know how it works out for you.

Just had a friend help me and we narrowed it down. the noise wasnt coming from the motor it was the rear end. when you get out of the truck and hear it outside makes a big difference. the rear u joint is bad, missing a cap and the shaft moves back and forth about quarter inch or more.

engine belt is fine.

called and going to get it fixed tomorrow.
i buy parts and just pay labor god i love that system.
