Default Muffler fitment Question

Sorry if this dont belong here,I posted in in the poll section but it dont look like too many people visit that area too often to answer questions.

I'm ready to order my exhaust and decided to go with the magnaflow. Ive been to over 25 different websites, including magnaflow themselves and when I put in my truck info, 07' 2500, they will only give me the diesel options. No 5.7L for the 2500.
So can I just order the one for the 1500 with the 5.7L and will it go on the same and fit right, hangers line up ect.?
It would be for the cat back bolt on.

There are many different Magnaflows you can get your your truck. Nothing is truck or engine specific. Its going to be very hard to find something you can directly replace on your truck with out SOME extra work. You may have to add a bit of pipe. But your existing pipe (stock) is 3" and your hangers really should need to be touched.

Try going to the manufacture site and looking at specs there.

Ah.....well thats a bit different. I understand now. I thought you were wanting to just cut down your current muffler and replace it with a new one.

On a side note, it may be cheaper for you to do a cat-back exhaust setup and buy your own muffler and tips and take it to a shop and let them bend the pipes and weld it all up. Thats how I did my first setup.

Between muffler, tips and welding, I might have had 250 in it all
