For sure its the same material, but I'm curious what it looks like. I wanna remove my chrome caps once it starts to get severe blemishes. But then, it probably has other markings on it from the mold, which may give it an unsightly appearance if I remove the caps.

according to other people the clear coat will eventually peel, but that should be an easy fix.
