Bilsteins, What to expect?
Hi all I have Bilsteins on the back of my 06 QCSB 4x4 with bags, and they are great, and I am now wanting to upgrade the front due, to bouncing after expansion joints. The question is are they going to be really harsh (feeling every crack in the road) compared to stock or will they have that nice controlled feeling. The truck is used exclusively on pavement and loaded several times a day. Thank you for your advice and imput.

I feel like I'm driving a newer truck, Not every crack either. stradies the big bounces. Worth every penny. Here are a few pix for ya. Mine is at the highest setting for a level ride The lowest setting is stock then it raises the front end by 1/2 inch incements.

I also have installed these at the highest setting and absolutely wish I would have done it the day I bought the truck. Mine is a 07 and the ride is unbelievable, I want to install some in the rear next. It actually takes the bumps much better than stockers ever did. Only way I can explain it is more of a dampened feel than the stock shocks, the stock shocks are slow to steady and bounce slightly these do not. INSTALL A PAIR YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

I ran the HD's on a grand cherokee, they rode really nice. Great street shock for sure. It was firmer than the 100k? mile oems that were on it.
I ran 5150 reservoir shocks on another grand, and those things rode like butter. Speed humps in the road were silky smooth at 30-35 mph, but I also had a 6.5" long arm lift on it.
