Default heated seats

Just wondering if anyone has installed their own heated seats and what brand or model of kit did you use. It looks fairly easy what wire did yall splice into for the power only when truck is on. Thanks in advance

I would highly suggest that you run a new wire with a relay for heated seats... they draw a lot of current that the TIPM (if equipped) will not handle.

There are a ton of brands out there, I've been considering putting a kit that I have laying around in but I'm not 100% sure if I want to bother with it yet...

I just finished installing a seat heater kit in my cloth seats about a month ago. I did some research and found a bunch of cheap kits. You get what you pay for. The one I chose was premium seat heater kit from Check Corporation (seatheater.com) at about $200. Quality parts and wiring. I chose the PRM-2XX model with both cushion and back elements. I also chose the optional membrane switches for a better install look on the dash. Install was not easy but not too hard and I wired it straight to the under the hood fuse box. It works like a charm. I am very happy with it.
