Turned off MDS and got +2 MPG?
I've been trying to decide whether to get a Diable tuner exported over to the UK for some time, all based on an economical decision of whether it will ultimately save me money in the long run, rather than any issue over wanting more power, although it does give more power, especially on the 91 tune, which I can run as it is equivalent to our 95 octane standard fuel.
But here's the thing...
I already get 14-17(US) around town and up to 22(US) on a long run, which is what everybody seems to be able get with the tuner, will I get yet more mpg or is it down to driving style? Does you driving style unperceptably change once the tuner has been added because there is possibly more low end power which means you don't have to drive as hard?
As for MDS, I can hardly tell it change in or out, but I make sure I run the correct good quality oil and apart from a K&N drop-in it's in standard tune.
