2003 Dodge Ram
So I stated that I cleaned the Idle Control Valve and it did not appear to help....well the truck is running fine now, would cleaning that have any immediate affect or does it take time to get calibrated? I did have the battery disconnected when I first got the truck, maybe I reset the computer and it takes so long to get calibrated back? Confusing the hell out of me.....
I will note that if the truck sits out overnight, when you fire it up the next morning she will idle rougher than hell, maybe it is a distributor cap/rotor issue - the truck has seemed to run fine since I started putting it in the garage overnight. I can test this theory pretty easily, I'll keep it out and see what happens. I use to have a Nissan that would do this, ended up being dist/cap...
Thanks guys,
Mike
