yea I doubt going from 10mpg to 16mpg is going to happen by changing from a 35 to a 33...and you also changed from the heavy stock 20s to lighter 17s so that would be working in your favor AT the supposed 10mpg

I looked at the Revo's, They are actually about $100 less for the 4, Mounted and balanced at my local firestone.

I think, however, Im getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of Toyo Opencountry A/T's. They seem to get good reviews and I have a local store that can get me a set, mount and balance them for $580.

They are almost a clone of the Terra Grapps (Toyo and Nitto have the same parent company). If you can get one in your area cheaper than the other, jump on that one.

I paid $486 ($121.50 per tire) for the 265/65/17 Terra Grapps on my Grand Cherokee, plus mount/balance/tax. Total bill was $561.80.

wow 561 mount and balance.Where did you find that? Best I can find was the $580 for mount and balance and I don't think that covered tax.

I was looking at destinat AT's also. They look like a nice tire and they are right at $600 for mount and balance.

yeah at least get a 265/70. But i think any of those...the Nitto Terra graps, the Bridgstone Dueler Revo, or even the destination at, would be fine. Just get a 285/70

I just walked into a local tire store and asked, I think it's a Tires Plus. They had to order them but that's the price he quoted.

I actually have a very good buddy with a tire shop up in Ga. who has sold me all of my truck tires at cost & he couldn't even match it. His regular tire distributor doesn't carry Nitto so he woulda had to order them from someone else and then pay shipping (which he doesn't pay from his normal guy as he just gets a truck with his orders once a week). Even if I'd have gotten the Mickey ATZs I really wanted at cost, they'd have still been $70 a tire higher...

Never owned a Bridgestone tire in my life, but the ONLY golf ball I play is a Bridgestone Tour 330 and I'm playing to about a five handicap so their tires can't be too bad.
