Default wheel spacers - cooper tires

I ordered a set of 305 55 20 cooper zeon ltz's yesterday. And after doing some more reading I found out I might have to run 1/4" wheel spacers. Does anyone have any input/exerience with this. My truck is an 08 4x4 1500. All stock suspension as of now. My question is, if I run stock suspension ( no leveling lift) will I need the 1/4" spacers, if I decide to do the level lift will I still have to do the 1/4" spacers regardless of the level lift? Or will I be ok with leaving everything stock? Thanks for any input.

Did you try looking through the 3rd Gen FAQs? There are a bunch of sticky threads in there that are specific about different things, tire fitment is one of them I think.

my stock 275's are very cose to the upper control arm(~.3") so a wider tire would def me even closer if not touch. Take a peek from under the font side and you will see what I mean. I would run spacers if it was me because you'll probably rub at times on the sidewall which isn't good.
Look HERE for tire fitment

If you do get spacers, get a quality spacer. Not some of those from autozone. Look at the hub centric ones. Good quality goes a long way as far as safety.
