I'm wanting to lower my truck. It's a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab, 2WD, and has the 5.7L Hemi V8. I was thinking about a 2" in the front and a 4" in the back.
Does anyone know of a place that will install the lowering kit for you in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area?
I know there are some motorsports places that specialize only in cars like camaros and corvettes, but are there any places that specialize in trucks?

 

I'm sure you can find someone to do it. Its a pretty simple drop kit to do. It took me a couple hours to do mine.

 

drop spindles in the front and drop shackles in the rear with adding the leaf packs under the axle instead of over. Not hard to do and parts arent that much. As for shops in your area, I have no idea. You will need top pick up and phone book and call a few shops and if they dont then ask them if they know anyone in the area.

 

I have found a kit that is a 1.5/4.3 inch kit that includes front springs, rear flip kit, shocks, and bump stops.

Are you saying it's better to use what you're saying then this kit?

 

If I'm not mistaken, a lot of guys like to use the lowered spindles instead of the springs for alignment reasons.
