Yes, you use the e-fan in place of the stock fan.

after the tuner most bang for buck (with easy install) is headers. intake and exhaust will make you feel better, but won't give you much horsepower wise. If you really want some giddyup then gotta go cam. still reasonably priced if you do the install yourself, and lost of power.

what do you normally use your truck for? if you aren't doing primarily highway driving, gears would be a good performance/driveability mod. relatively cheap if you got a 2wd, and gives you lots more WHEEL torque (no more power at the motor).

The fan is to cool your engine. Switching from a clutch fan to an electric fan is like throwing a lightweight flywheel in - it reduces drag on the engine and allows more power to make it to the ground.

The most bang for your buck though isn't in increasing power, it's multiplying torque. Regear your truck and you'll notice MAJOR performance gains.

i gotta agree with above. if you're looking for more performance, the gears are probably the best way to go. sure you won't be able to say 'my motor makes 40000 hp, but the truck will speak for itself.

i've been out of the truck scene for a while, don't know what cams are still around. it will depend largely on what you're willing to live with. you need it to be streetable? you want low end torque, high end? you got a quad cab or single cab, 2wd or 4wd? more info on your truck will help, and more info on your budget and what your goals are.

I wouldn't worry about the head just yet, it's one of the best flowing stock heads out there.

gears would help that. get the gears, screw everything else for now. it should slide under your budget, and has the biggest smile factor.

for future reference, please use the search, as there are probably a thousand threads on adding power to these trucks.

so far i have the diablo predator 91 tune....is there anyway to get more hp out of the diablo?

I plan on getting the Airaid CAI is that the best for hp?

Also plan on getting flowmaster exhaust...any suggestion on which series sounds the best? i like my exhaust to be loud but i dnt want it to pop

I seen something about a power wire? I cant find anything on what it is...

also thx to everyone who helped my figure out how to wire my halos...lost that thread
With the diablo, you can do a data log and then go in and modify some of the parameters. Did you just load the 91 tune or did you go into any of the modify features from the 91 tune? You should be able to adjust some shift points, throttle sensitivty, idle, add/remove fuel and timing (DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE LOGS AND KNOW WHERE TO ADD/PULL FUEL/TIMING) and all of that can squeeze a little more out of it or you can find a custom tuner and have them write you a better tune for your truck.

All CAI are about the same, just get rid of the Hemi hat and the stock air box and you'll be good.

Exhaust, ANYTHING is better performance wise than the flowmasters...
