05 Ram 2500 - Delayed Crank or Won't Start
And it is possible for the voltage output of the alt to be as low as 12v because of the readings the PCM gets from the Batt Temp Sensor. Loading testing the battery is good. With you not having any DTCs, I cant think of anything else
I had an issue with my '07 starting and then dying instantly (within 1 sec), and in my case it was the key. My suggestion was going to be testing with your other key, but it looks like you've tried that. The WCM could make sense in that scenario. It sounds like the security system could be failing causing a loss of connection to the key killing the motor.
In our '05 Town & Country mini-van, we actually had the BCM go out, which caused some similar issues (no error codes, but it wouldn't start, gauge went flaky, etc). At first, they thought it was the WCM, but there were bigger issues and the BCM replacement did fix it.

All,
I want to thank you very much for your trying to help me out with theis very frustrating problem. I have presented all of the symptoms of the problem that there are so there is nothing more to say in that regard. Unfortunately, this thread is going nowhere so I may as well close it at this point. My thanks once again for your efforts to lend me a hand.

Unfortunately, nothing has happened. I am still at square one with the same symptoms, the same problem, no way to test key-module problems if any, and leads as to where the WCM/SKREEM module is located so that I might at least run down any potential harness problem. This is why I thought it prudent to just let the thread go and hopefully gain the aforementioned info from some as yet unknown source in the future. My hope was to ensure I and my wife would not end up stranded in the middle of winter, miles from anywhere, with no cell phone coverage in very rural Pa. It certainly isn't like the help I have received isn't appreciated. Quite the contrary, I would like to thank all once again for the help that was provided! It did eliminate a couple of possibilities. Unfortunately, it didn't lead to my being able to 100% being sure that the WCM/SKREEM module IS the problem. Trying to eek out a living on a disability pension makes one very hesitant to drop major money into a questionable repair.

The only other possibility I can think of is an emissions issue.
I have seen several other discussions online with very similar, some even the exact symptoms, so there is obviously a specific issue, and it’s not the battery
