Default clunk from drivetrain at slow speeds

I have a 2004 DODGE RAM 1500 4x4 with the 5.7L engine. At slow speeds ( less than 50km/h) if I let the truck coast with no gas then step on the gas to pick up speed again a clunk/lash is witnessed from the drive train. When the vehicle starts to coast a much less noticiable situation happens and the vehicle seems like it wants to slow faster after the small clunk. This doesnt happen at higher speeds.. any ideas what this one may be?
