Default tire help for an 07

07 ram with 2.5" leveling kit, need to know maximum tire height and width to mount on a 17" rim. I'm waiting to buy the rims until I figure out how big I can go.

4x4 or 4x2? and is this just a "for looks" thing or do you plan on going off-road and/or using your truck as a truck?

Then I would suggest getting 17x9 wheels with about a 4.25-4.75" backspace, a negative offset and running 33x12.5x17 tires. Much larger than 33" with a level and you'll have issues with articulation.

35s will stuff in there, but if you do much on uneven terrain, you'll have issues. Too much emphasis is placed on stuffing the biggest tires you can stuff in the tire well...
