Weedahoe, I thank you for the service info you posted for 2004 ram 1500's. This past weekend I done a timming chain replacement on my truck,chains, gears, tenioners,hyd actuators,lash ajusters, the job went smooth with a little help from the service manual. the truck has 133698 miles on it. all the parts were wore out the quides broke when I tried to losen the bolts on them they were brittle.the reason I did the change was because the motor got where it would not idle smooth and I had the cold start tapping that would last a minute or so. the truck runs like it did the day I bought it, THANKS,BILLY
