I am still experimenting with mine...the 35Ws definitely need some resistors. However I bought 55W ballasts and were only given a 35W bulb and relay ( kinda pointless I must say was pretty ticked off-Thats what you get with ebay tho) I just got some 55W bulbs and relay in today, so I will install them and let you know if it flickers or not...

In my mind it should work, but the dodge computer does not run like my mind wants :P I will post again if it works....IF you are going to go ahead and buy them anyways, just confirm with the seller that they are 55W everything, bulbs ballasts, and of course the relay!

yea in theory a 55w setup (whole 55w lol) should not tick our computers off. Im looking forward to seeing if yours does or doesnt. It is supposed to draw 55w so I cant see why the HID kit would set off the lamp out

I would wait to see if his 55w kit works. The one you are looking at SAYS it has 55w bulbs and ballasts, the relay isnt going to solve your problem and you might have to get the capacitor setup. I would wait until Nate writes back though

Alright so I got them installed...turned on my truck and let it run for 15mins and not a single flicker! Or a lamp out! That of course after I reset the computer (just for a reset sake) Seems to be working just fine, again thats only 15 min. When I travel to work tomorrow its a longer drive so I will use them once again and post how that went.

So in theory now, a true 55W ballast kit does work...for 15 mins anyways...

The only thing that might be different with mine, is I do have capacitors installed, which might be why I don't get a lamp out problem. I also have my DRLs disabled using my tuner...BUT thats what a capacitor is supposed to disable.
