ok theres a red light thats staying on by the gauges. truck wont start, key does nothing. but when I plug my phone charger in it works. idk why if the battery is dead that would happen... and i dont know what drained it. the other day i opened the door and it wouldnt stop dinging as if i left a light on but there were no lights on or anything. this happened after a huge thunderstorm swept a bunch of rain inside the truck cuz i left the windows down.. any ideas? should i try and jump it

 

Sounds like the Securirt light. Most guys do find this to be a dead battery. Get a jump and then take it someplace to get the battery tested and replaced if needed.
