It's legal with a doctors presription note. Otherwise completely illegal.

20% on a windshield? Not even legal with a doctor note around here. Maybe on side windows but not on a windshield.

negative, even with a sun allergy waiver you cant have it on the windshield

That being said, i bought some 30% tint to do mine sometime soon. I dont want the darkness as much as the UV reflection, it cuts down on heat in the cab by alot

I use my truck for work and it gets used mainly during the day. So it keeps it cooler inside and not to bad on the sun coming in. At night it takes away the glare from others headlights. I can see perfectly out of it at both times of day. Yes it's illegal but I'm a contractor and no one ever pulls me over or hassles me about it here haha

A sc/sb 1/2 ton 4.7(I'm guessing) doesn't seem like a contractor truck lol but I definately agree on the tint

heres a video on how to do the leds, you will need some splicers but other then that its easy. And the lights in there are dim as hell. Look for some sylvania brighter lights if your not wanting to go all the way with an hid kit. I think the bulbs are 12v 50? its a wierd bulb but auto zone and advance autoparts both carry it near where i live.
