I'm looking at possibly installing a SRT hood on my 07 1500, and was wondering if it would fit properly or if the body styles are just different enough to not work?

 

I put a srt10 hood on my 05 1500. It worked out fine.

 

Hood is the same from 2002 to 2008 for the 1500's and 2003 to 2009 for the 2500/3500's.
Only difference form 2002-05 and 2006-09 was the grille, fenders, headlights and bumper cap. 2007 they changed the tails too but that's on the wrong end of the truck anyway. :-)

Gotta look for a pair of bumpers to do a trade on as well. Someone might want chrome and I want black.

 

good luck with both those feats, i been trying to down trade my bumpers for over a yr, and find a nice srt hood in decent cond. for cheapo there all being used...

 

yeah, usually not easy to find and when you do they are either too far away or price too high.
