I will be changing out my entire sound system soon but need help with my door speakers. I aready have 6 3/4 pioneer component set up which I want to use. Ive heard my truck uses 6x9s in the front doors. Does anyone know if I make the 6 3/4s fit would they sound good? Is there anything I should do or has anyone done this? Thanks to all..

Are you sure you have 6.75's? 6.5's will fit but not 6.75's.

However you can make them fit by getting some MDF or particle board and cutting trim rings and screwing them to the door and then the 6.75's to them. If they are co/tri/quad-ax then they may not if they stick out too far.
