Default 2007 Bull/brush/push guard; need modified bumper valance?

I was wondering if you need a modified bumper valance for the guards? I'm looking at pictures and it looks like the 'demo' photos show two cut outs on the lower valance for the guard. Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks!

Most guys modify it themselves. It's pretty simple just use a jig saw to cut out the spaces where the bars go

I used a roto zip tool to cut the slits when I installed my grill guard, same deal when Pyro and I installed his. Takes under a minute...

Yeah, I did mine kinda like Hammer. I used a drill and a bit and once I made my hole I pulled the drill bit in the direction i wanted to go to make my slot.
