Actually 2.5" DO should prob' be close or around the same backpressure as 3" SO?

Dan, if you do the math the DO 2.5 flows better.
2.5 x 3.1416 x 2 = 15.70
3 x 3.1416 = 9.42

the magnaflow is a great muffler...it literally cut the sound in half in the cab when i switched from flow 50's. we talk normally in the truck instead of raising our voices to converse..

Magnaflow is def. the way to go..... they also have 24" & 18" rounds too, so you can choose your sound level.

I would take a clip but ive just got my phone and the sound isnt great on there...honestly its hard to tell on any recording what the sound really is like

I just had a Magnaflow 12279 installed. It is 3" SI/SO 5x8x30 with a 24" case. It is fairly quiet and has lots of flow.
