Hey guys,

I tried putting a ported and polished TB by bwdakrt on my truck a while back but got an idle issue with the TB installed. After the truck is warmed up, when I go to put the truck in park my idle would raise to 1200 RPM. If I revved the engine a couple times or restarted the truck, the idle would come back down. I figured it was a problem in the TB, so I decided to buy a Fastman 68.50mm bore. Installed it and same problem. Ive done hard resets, pulled PCM fuses to try and get the truck to learn the TB but nothing has helped. The problem goes away with the stock TB.

I have replaced the IACV, TPS and MAP sensors along with any vacuum hoses that I thought may be the problem. I had a shop take a look at it and they couldnt find anything. Ive gone through bottles of brakeleen, and I just finished checking the brake booster ..... nothing.

Has anyone had this type of idle issue with their Fastman? Anys suggestions? Im out of ideas. Thanks for any help.
