So i went to hook up to a trailer using the 4 pin connector. Well, to find out the medal has rusted out and there is none inside to make a connection. So i used the 7 pin with an adapter. So i need to replace the 4 pin, so there a plug someplace the factory puts in or do i have to cut the old 4 prong wires and just re-wire the new end.

You could likely go to someplace like Autozone or Walmart or TSC and find/buy those male/female harnesses
