Default OK radio Dudes. Can I use this AMP?

OK radio Dudes. Can I use this AMP? It's For my 04 dodge ram
I have a 56043295ac stock chrysler amp that works.
My original doesn't work, it's 56043136ag
Plug doesn't fit to just swap them. I have both plugs.
Can I just cut off the original plug and swap the wires around to use the amp that works?

This is for a stock setup that has infinity speakers.
I believe they are both stock infinity amps.
Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.
Thanks!
Kev

I take it you have a 2004 Ram based on the ag part number. I'm not sure what the ac part came from? Did you get it at a junkyard or from another Ram?

The only thing that might be different are the HP/LP filters and power ratings. As long as you connect the proper wires to eachother, it will work.
Do they both have 2 connectors with the same number of wires?

You must make sure the power/ground wires are correct or you'll fry it in an instant.

I think your right. I'll try to post some pics for others to see as well so I get some more insight.
Thanks for your input.

it would be better if you found out exactly what the amp came out of to get the matching wiring diagrams and just cross reference and wire it up

IMO it would be better to but something after market that will have more power and sound better. But its all up to you.

Default NEED INPUT on buying an amp, what do I need to know to replace a stock chysler amp?

What Amp should I buy to replace a bad stock Chrysler amp on my 04 ram w/ infinity speakers for$50?
Any specs that I need to go by? I had a 56043136ag that was stock with the infinity speakers. I just want something to replace it and I think I can get something better that it but need to know more before I buy.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
