Default Changing tire size advice

Hello everyone, this is my first post and I'm sorry if this has been posted before but I need your advice.

Back in July I bought a 2008 Ram 1500 SXT 5.7 Hemi to haul my new 29ft Jayco G2 travel trailer. Towed beautifully. This is my first Ram an I must say that I LOVE the RAM.

Anyway, I'm am no tire expert and my question is with winter approaching I am in need of some winter tires. Currently the tires on the RAM are P265/70/17. I have a near new set of P265/65/17 Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires that I paid almost $1200 for that belonged to my Nissan Xterra SC, which I sold recently. The obvious question is will there be a problem putting the P265/65/17 on my Ram. Also will I need to change Rims? I know that my rims are 17" but will changing from 70 to 65 cause me to change my rims?

Sorry if this is a stupid question and I really appreciate all the help.

Cheers,

Kevin

Nope, you'll be fine. Speedo will be off slightly due to the slightly smaller tires but not enough to matter...

Only concern would be load ratings. Size will be fine.
