need some info on rear brakes, now i know they are rotors with pads and i can take them off no problem and i there is a parking brake system to it.

now if i cant get the rotor off how do i collapes the shoes someone said theres a star wheel you turn ?

is the shoe system when taking off the same traditional type as every other shoes (drum style) with big spring of it it different on this truck ?

You have rotors and pads all the way around the truck. You can use several things to compress the caliper pistons back in place. I use a big C clamp

I believe the proper way is to use the starwheel adjuster to back them off. However, I had the same problem and ended up just squiting some WD-40 on the back of the rotors and then banging on the back of them with a rubber mallet. Just a few squirts near the parking brake shoes and the rotor slipped right off. You could also try driving with the parking brake on slighty and see if that loosens their grip.
