Default Questions (Uconnect, Window, and Oil)

I have a few questions that I haven't been able to find answers for using the search.

First up, the rear power window seems to work intermittently, I'm thinking it has a short somewhere. I'm wondering if this would be something covered in the warranty, or if it would be something even worth getting fixed if it isn't. If I press the button several times, it will eventually work, but it might take five or six presses before it will kick in. It stops working once every three or four times I try to use it.

Second, I'm thinking about replacing my head unit, but I'm wondering if it will break my Uconnect which I love so dearly. My truck has the stock, bare bones radio, with a single disk, and no Uconnect buttons on it (They're on the mirror). I'm thinking a radio swap with break it, but the local audio guy doesn't think it will (He's never tried before however).

Thirdly, I'm about to my first oil change with this truck (08 1500 Hemi with 26,000 miles). I'm wondering what people think the best option is with oil (The book says 5W20). The previous onwer used Castrol Synthetic 5W20 (And kept very good logs in the book).

Thanks!

Most likely you have a bad switch with the window. In-expensive and easy to repair. Most likely it is not covered under the manufacturer warranty.

Yes I do beleive the U-Connect is part of the head unit, Meaning if you replace the head the U-Connect will probably not work. However I beleive there are aftermarket units that offer similar feature.

Oil is kinda a personal choice, The most popular seems to be a 5w20 Synthetic. Id either stick with castrol or my personal choice is mobile 1 synthetic. Either way you should stay with the Dodge recommended 5w20.

Thanks!

I was thinking it might just be the switch, I'll have to see if I can find a replacement.

As for the Oil, that's what I figured, but I wasn't sure so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks
