Default efan thermal probe placement (pics)

i got tired of looking for a spot to put my efan's thermal probe (180deg) and came up with this,...

Very nice, Where did you get the adapter? I was actually considering drilling and tapping my thermostat housing, However I think that is a much better approach. I don't like seeing my probe sticking out of my radiator fins at all.

its just a 1-1/2 pvc cuppling from my local hardware store. drilled a 3/16 hole (may vary) all the way through.

You know they do manufacture those and sell them (ebay) right? Nice work though. As long as it doesnt leak I dont see any issues with it

lol never new they sold them, got mine for $5. just make sure you seal the ends with some kind of high temp glue or epoxy (JB Weld)

yeah Im sure making one like that was less than the approx $13 they have theirs listed for. Yours looks great and Im sure will work just as well.
