Thanks for the pic. It seems to be faceted enough not to be a problem. And, of course, if you switch to clear bulbs the amber reflection won't show on the "chrome."
Appreciate it.

Avanti,
I know about the bulb, but what about the REFLECTOR? Is it legal to run without a reflector. I think it looks sweet without it, but it is just my luck...You know how it goes. I can always rely on Murphy's Law...LOL.

Looks pretty nice Rob, but I'm afraid of messin something up. With Acid having some troubles, I think I may lean towards buying the headlights unfortunately.
I was looking at the lights this afternoon when I got done tweaking my yoda (sorry, no speed out of this one, just conveniance) and I noticed the little tabs you discussed and how easy they break. the tabs do look rather flimsy. depengine on how much time I have after running errends and changing the fuel filter I might try this
its easy i did the same to my honda prelude if you wanna make it easier pop it in the oven for like 3-4min at a time until you can pry it apart with your hands and if you wanna put some goop back on make sure its one that will do the same as the old goop if you wanna change something later if dont want it open anymore use silicone for glass heres a pic of the one i did i painted the inside black
