On at 04, the IAC is inside the throttle body I think. It is replaced as a unit (TB)

I had someone do it so I am not sure. In my book it looks like it is right under the TPS.

And btw, this didnt fix the problem. As soon as I went out around town for a few hours and sat in some traffic we were back to the same ole issue...

Any thoughts??

OP has a 5.7L engine, he got hijacked by 4.7L crowd. Have you pulled the VC to check the springs? I understand early 04's also have spring problems.
