Dont let that fool you into thinking that it still cant be the problem. Brand new things still go bad or dont work right from the start.

Yep, guy who used to be a mod here in this section replaced an alternator with a reman'd one once. Problem didn't go away. He went nuts trying to track it down to another component. Ended up being the alternator he bought had the same issue as his original one...
