A diode, not a resistor. A diode will eliminate any potential backfeed if there is a short within the lights. i suppose it's negligible, but if you end up tapping into a main feed, you could have problems if your projectors had a problem. A diode is a one way valve basically. It'll allow power to feed the lights, but wont allow any short circuits to come back in.

Hey, if you guys over there are running LEDs and they being white whereas we run filament type bulbs and are amber or orange, do you mind taking some pics and posting them for us to see? I would like to see some.

i wired my LED to the 12V Outlet, its on when the ignition is on. i ran a wire through an existing hole at the bottom of th fire wall/behined the brake pedal. you can also connect your halos there since it is a 12V outlet.

Well, i fitted my new headlights and they looked great, unfortunately they have started to get condensation in them already, anyway thats the least of my problems, took it to the garage tonight to have the beams adjusted for the UK and they cant adjust them enough they seem to think that the adjusters are not working properly so ive had to take them out again as i just cant see enough with them the way they are at the moment. so im feeling pretty gutted at the moment nothing ever seems to be straight forward when im involved
